Flash Dance People!

Be you Man or Woman, (Aliens included too) you cannot deny the awesomeness that is Jennifer Beals! So after having watched one to many renditions of the Flash dance on the telly, I decided to have a go at it.

The result was stunning. Not in the sense that the painting was stunning (As you can quite clearly see, it is quite pedestrian), but stunning in the sense that it wasn't a complete disaster! So basically its a Hurrah for something as opposed to a standing ovation for nothing :P

Oh and the lady is blue, because I like blue.

Sadhu Baba

As is the usual, the holy guy I had used for my reference looked much more holy and calm and had all the requisite saint like stuff going on with his face. Buuut this guy looks like he is all set to take over the world and has just spotted voldemort who can be a good ally in his evil cause. BWAHHAHAHAH!

Anyways, the branch like thing on the left side of his face was the result of a very conniving sneeze, which found an oppurtune moment to present itself *_x the resultant patch up attempt as you can see was not quite successful!

Poor guy looked so much better in the reference photograph that I used :P Anyways, he is supposed to be a rioter shouting slogans against some fancy european government. Sadly with my rendition he looks like a guy waiting for a root canal at his dentist or someone who just saw a very naked angelina jolie run by ;)

When Dr. House lost his hair ...

So in a fit of madness, I decided to sketch House. The result was a quite muscular looking House with no hair!

P.S: My theory is that he had hair, which disappeared mysteriously when he saw that hideous bed sheet of mine against which he was placed :)

So , this one is titled the 'Naked Lady' for obvious purposes.

With that said, I want to introduce this blog - Artfartstart.

Now Artfartstart was started with one and only one intention, that of spreading mayhem and panic amongst the art world i.e. to showcase my 'art'. (Yes! I totally did the air quotes thing in my head as I typed that)
